Welcome to Healthy by Dezign, a small company I founded back in 2005 while working as a registered nurse. Upon graduating from Albany Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Upstate New York, I worked as a new graduate in the cardiac rehabilitation and orthopedic unit. I was also honored to be appointed to the hospital’s code team. I gained experience while working for an OBGYN clinic before leaving for the sunshine of Southern California to pursue my career. I enjoyed working with children, so I sought the specialty of PICU and found my real love in Neonatal Intensive Care for seven years.
Once I obtained a multi-state, compact nursing license, I was brave enough to accept travel assignments in various parts of the country. I had the opportunity to visit many beautiful states facing nursing shortages while working under incredibly challenging situations. While enjoying many travel assignments, Covid surfaced, and so did new challenges. The long hours and commutes and very fast-paced nursing lifestyle had me physically exhausted most of the time.
While I already had extensive medical experience and credentials in the nursing field, my passion for holistic health led me to seek out and earn my Nutrition Certification from ‘The Natural Healing Institute’ in Southern California and my Health Coach Certification. I decided to make Healthy by Dezign my full-time career.
With my focus and expertise, I settled on coaching individuals on the importance of self-care. I accomplished this by providing education about clean eating, supplementation, stress reduction, and creating a balanced lifestyle. As time went on, I gained a national reputation for helping clients recover their health and youthful appearance. Chronic stress knows no boundaries, whether you are a high-performance athlete or a stay-at-home mom. You deserve a vibrant life and unbridled success!
